It's not often that I get to be a part of a couples journey from the very beginning to the wedding day, but with Vanessa & Jason this is exactly what happened.
I have had the absolute pleasure of getting to know this lovely couple for 8 years now and to be in their presence is to be a witness to what true love really is. I have felt so fortunate to be there every step of the way and watch them embark on this journey together.

No one ever tells you that when you fall in love with the one you will be with for the rest of your life, how much your life will completely change. My husband and I were in our early 20s when we met and fell in love...even though the road to falling in love took a year and a half, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank my lucky stars for being able to share this journey with someone as thoughtful, dedicated and hard working as him.
The best part about being a wedding photographer is the variety in locations that you get to visit and see. Daisy and Allan gave my team and I a feast for the eyes with their location and gorgeous details. This wedding was especially special by having family members create many of the decorations. A true labor of love. As you'll see in the photos below, it resulted in the most romantic setting anyone could ever hope for.
I have the honor of getting to know couples throughout the year and it reminds me constantly of how lucky I am to do what I do and call it a job. Natalie and Tom came in to my life and over cups of coffee we cemented an amazing relationship. Their wedding was heartfelt and no detailed was spared. La Cañada Thursday Club was such an amazing setting for a book lovers wedding. The wedding cake topper was made by the groom along with several details shown at the wedding. Books were made into centerpieces that guests got to take home. By the way, have I mentioned what awesome dancers this group was? Enjoy this sneak peek into their incredible day.

There are moments when I get approached by couples and we instantly click. This was the case with Syeachia & Ian. As an Oklahoma couple, they wanted their special day to be celebrated on one of the prettiest beaches in Southern California. They couldn't have picked a more perfect location, North Main Beach. After the ceremony, we were able to snag some photos at sunset and then cruised over to Wildfish Restaurant, which they had adored with the most amazing details, and enjoyed the yummiest crab cakes ever!

In college I had a handful of friends whom I treasure and fortunately have kept in touch throughout the years. One of these amazing friends is Kari. When she and Ed got engaged, I was so honored to be asked to photograph her lovely wedding in Connecticut. Their ceremony and reception was adorned with gorgeous details but also with so much love. It was palpable the entire day. The fantastic Anthony's Ocean View was absolutely perfect. The ocean as their background, Kari and Ed said "I do" and the rest of the day was so much fun and forever to be remembered by whoever was in attendance.
One of the best moments of the ceremony, was watching Kari and Ed receive their rings from the ring bearers, Kari's grandparents.
As a former south Florida resident, I have loved traveling back and photographing amazing couples and families while visiting my own family. Recently I was introduced to an incredible couple who wanted to celebrate their big day and exchange their vows in Miami Beach. I was beyond thrilled to be there to help capture their special day. The Grand Beach Hotel was a perfect setting for the lovely Priya and her beau Dustin to get ready and do their first look, while The Forge provided a fantastic space for their ceremony and reception.
Last year I met a sweet couple during another wedding I was photographing. They approached me and we instantly hit it off! Even though they are based in Florida, they were getting married at the Glendora Country Club and their wedding day couldn't have been more perfect. They were surrounded with love and everyone (including myself) shed a couple of tears.
A few months ago I met with this incredible couple at a little coffee shop in LA. What I didn't know at the time is how much I would grow to adore these two. Their love is palpable and they have the most genuine hearts of anyone I have ever met. When they asked me to be their wedding photographer, I jumped and fist bumped the gods for my lucky fortune. Recently we got to do their engagement session and it was magical. By the way, while we were having our consult, an art student sketched us. How awesome is that?
